I haven't notice any change in battery life with iOS 8.1.2 on my 5s, but I'm going to pay more attention for the next couple of days and see....will report back.

G'day everyone.
Yukh: Sorry to read about iOS 8.1.2 on your 5s....bummer. I'm wondering at what point future updates hinder on "older" devices...

I don't consider the 5s an older device. I have restored my phone a few days back, but no luck. So I guess the next update will solve my battery life issue

I really didn't mean to imply that the 5S is old (by all means it isn't!). But phones remind me of "dog-years" where they become old faster: New chips in new phones can handle new iOS better, ya know :)...
