I don't know. How old is your iPad? Do you have a fast internet connection? Do you have a lot of apps running in the background? How are you accessing Facebook - via the app or a web browser?

It happens especially during poor internet days. In my place, when there's a rain, all sites are barely accessible. At first I thought that there could be something wrong with my gadget but I discovered eventually that most slowing downs are basically caused by poor internet connection. Get internet service from the best provider in your country and you'll likely be far from feeling disappointed and unproductive.
