Why can't I post to one friends time line?

cant post to one friends time line

Wife is an android user she can post things to my timeline on FB i cant when i want to post some thing to her time line all my friends see it on my time line how do i fix this

click on Status then choose the to: field and uncheck friends then put in your wife's name. It will only post to here.
