Facebook app emails?

Back in the pre-Iphone days, I was blackberried out. Now while facebook for blackberry is nowhere near as good as facebook for iphone, it did have one convenience in automatically deleting emails from facebook (as I already saw I had a facebook notification from the facebook app, I obviously didn't need the e-mail).

Does the Iphone have something similar? It's kind of annoying getting a push notification from facebook, and then getting an e-mail at the same time. I've looked around and couldn't find that feature. Any help? Thanks!

You're getting them simultaneously. If you're having those notifications pushed - turn off the email feature.

You have to go to Facebook on the web to turn off email notifications.
