I just saw this in the Mac and iOS App Store and was wondering if anyone had used them. It's supposed to keep all your feeds in sync using your iCloud account and not Google Reader.

If it works well, it sounds like a great solution to me because it doesn't rely on a third party like some of the other Reader replacements do (Feedly, Newsbin, etc all have their own server infrastructure). In the case of NewsBar, even if the developer were to stop support the apps should keep functioning as long as Apple supports iCloud syncing.

So anyone?

I've really loved how Mountain Lion makes use of a lot of iOS features, but this one is driving me nutty: every time I tweet from my MBP's built-in sharing menu, I get a quick whistle notification as an alert that the tweet went through. I find it to be an awful noise, but I see no settings to change. Am I overlooking something?

I did see this help thread, but I'm wondering if there's an easier way to do it?
