I have looked online and tried rebooting phone, resetting network settings, resetting mobile data, turning on/off airplane mode etc etc

Now this is a new handset that I had replaced last week as my other 4s had problems. So I have done a phone restore before the problem today

Hi!

recently my battery life has been terrible so i've decided to restore as new via iTunes. That helped and now it looks much better (1 day standby & 5-6 hrs usage) which is good i think given the fact that i'm using twitter a lot with banners etc.

But.. I've noticed strange behavior. Right now i'm charging my phone, it was at 14% and suddenly while charging the battery percentage dropped to 10% and of course the warning message show up. Is it normal to see something like this while charging? At the time i was using "kitcam" app and app store.

Sometimes when i'm at 20% for example (not charging) i see the battery percentage drop to 10% in just a few seconds. That happened even before the restore.

So. Should i be worried about this? I'm open for any suggestions.

iPhone 4s, iOS 6.1.3

Thank you!!!

Hi I tried searching the web but couldn't come up with anything helpful so I figured I'd try the wonderful imore.

My girls 4s has no volume control when watching a video, playing a game, pandora, etc. the volume buttons work when headphones are plugged in and the speaker works when receiving a phone call and on speakerphone. When I went to watch a video on YouTube's mobile site this is what I got <a href="http://forums.imore.com/attachments/iphone-4s/30636d1368299664-no-volume-control-imageuploadedbytapatalk1368299661.809718.jpg" title="Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1368299661.809718.jpg
This is what I get when the volume buttons are pressed at home screen <a href="http://forums.imore.com/attachments/iphone-4s/30637d1368299706-no-volume-control-imageuploadedbytapatalk1368299702.560092.jpg" title="Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1368299702.560092.jpg
And this is what the app switcher volume control looks like when pandora is playing

I tried blowing out the ports with compressed air (duster) to no avail

Any ideas?

Hi folks,
I've have had a weird issue with my iPhone 4s the last few weeks where I have a dead spot on my screen. Its at about where the 7, 8 and 9 are on the phone dialer. This affects all apps. For example, when I type a text message in portrait mode the "send" button falls in the dead spot and I have to turn the phone into landscape mode to get the "send" button in a different spot to work. It also makes scrolling within things like the browser and facebook a PITA. Not all the numbers work on the calculator, etc. You get the picture. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this happening to their phone. I have a 3rd-party housing installed that came with the digitizer so I'm wondering if that digitizer has just gone bad OR could it be my jailbreak causing the issue? It did start NEAR the same time I downloaded the octopus keyboard, which has since been deleted. I should also mention that the phone hasn't been dropped either. I'm trying to decide if I'm better off trying to unjailbreak FIRST and then if that doesn't fix the issue, have the old housing/digitizer put back on or if I should start with the housing and then unjailbreak. I am kind of hoping its not the jailbreak because I don't really want to unjailbreak and start over with that. I think its more likely to be the 3rd-party housing/digitizer, right?

I have replaced volume buttons on my 4S thinking it would fix my issue. The buttons remained stuck with no clicking sound. I had to press down hard to raise or lower the volume. After the repair I'm seeing that my buttons are loose and again I have to press the buttons hard. I opened my phone again and now I'm seeing contact between the ribbon and volume buttons is spaced. What should I do now?

Mods/admins, move this if I put it in the wrong place.

Running Windows Phone and wanted to pick up a 4S from Craigslist to run the 4S and see how it is; I had an iPhone 4 and loved it but Apple left it behind with no siri, no turn by turn etc.

I don't mind picking up the 4S to run with / play with for a while, if it lasts till the 6 comes out. I THINK the 4S might last that long if Apple stays with the normal two revisions behind. The 5 is nice, but hope to see what the 6 does and maybe even bigger screen and the rumored polycarbonate phones that are cheaper and not full aluminum.

So the question is to you ios users, thoughts and opinions (or direct rumors or facts be better) that the 4S will last one more generation?

Hi, new member here so I must ask for your patience. I am an Android user so I know next to nothing about Apple products.
My wife has an iPhone 4s and an iPad 1 on ios 5.1.1.
She would like to share photos from iPhone to iPad without involving a computer (if possible). Furthermore, she only has 2 gigs of data per month so would like the photos to transfer from phone to ipad when phone is on wifi, never when phone is using paid data. My wife is even less techy than I so for this to be useful it must happen automatically without need for her to do anything, not even tap a button.

Is it possible to set it up this way? If so how?

Again, I thank you for your patience. I have searched but cannot find anything about how to do what I am describing.

Does anyone know how to add a location to a custom List? I know how to add to a specific reminder location, but I want to get a notification when I arrive at a location in List. When I add to my custom list, which is constantly being added item to. Example, I have a list called "Groceries" I want that list to pop up when I get there. NOT just one item but the list with all the items in it.? or, do you have to add the location one by one to each item you add to that list. very slow. thanks, winwood
