I know this isn't really a question or topic about Apple. But I know there are some smart tech people on here and I thought maybe you guys could help me.

So this is the first time I've ever tried to write a comparative review, it probably won't be posted until next month sometime as I need the funds to purchase a few more apps. I'm comparatively reviewing mobile browsers for iPhone. I have 13 free browsers and will be buying 7 more.

My question is this, how should I go about writing this review? Should I shorten the list of browsers I talk about and keep some as honorable mentions? If I do that, how many should I talk about in my review?

Single app reviews I'm getting better at, but comparative reviews are a new thing so any help is greatly appreciated.

Ok, this has happened two times to me. I have an Android phone, and two times friends with Iphones texted me, (could have been a group text I am not sure) anyway after I got their text, and it wanted me to download something which when I did it was only text, I found out who it was which was friends. Then after that i was getting all these other people texting me which I did not know. When I ask who this is, they come back with "you texted me". Each time it was a new number for my friends and each time I have had to download and it was only the text of what they said. Now the other textes I never downloaded just ask who it was.
Is this something iphones have when you send out a group text? If so needs to stop.

I haven't been posting much lately because in the latter part of April, smoke alarms woke us up in middle of night. Turns out that a pipe had burst under kitchen sink and water was just pouring out of the cabinets. With the smoke and "popping" sounds from lights, I got the kiddo and wife outta there and the fire department took care of it. The basement ceiling was falling apart as water poured from it and basically ruined everything down there including all my gadgets, big screen, sound system, etc (goodbye palm centros, pre, etc). Hardwood ruined on first floor as well means having to pack everything out later.

But man, what a mess. My house seems cursed. We had a house fire 6 or 7 years ago and have been through this before.

I have to say though, my iphone with its ability to record phone calls with that jb app, has been a lifesaver. We've talked to many contractors, insurance, etc and its great to just email my wife the conversation or have records. It's been a big help for taking pics & inventory as well.

Does anybody have experience using an extended warranty through their credit card?

My credit card company gives me an extra year of warranty. If I had used my card to buy my iPhone 4 three years ago, I could have saved myself $150 when the display failed 17 months later. I used it to buy an iPhone 4S and a 5 when they first came out. (10/11 & 9/12) I don't need to make a claim, but just in case I ever do, I want to make sure I have what I need. If I don't, at least I can make sure I do for future purchases. (5S?)

I don't have any printed receipts, since I bought both online. (One from Apple, the other from AT&T.) However, I do have e-mailed order confirmations for both. I also don't have paper card statements; I have access to PDF statements from 2012, but not 2011, although I would think that they can get the statements, themselves. The manufacturer warranty should still be in the box, and is on Apple's web site. I'm guessing I can get a repair estimate from the Apple store.

Is this sufficient documentation?

How long does the procedure take?

Do I get it fixed first, and then try to pry a reimbursement out of them?
Or do I just get an estimate and wait for them to credit Apple before I can get it fixed?

How much of a hassle do they make it?

What else should I know?

I read the fine print and know what is and is not covered, basically the same as Apple's warranty.

please post to ALL all of your fellow members some kind of tidbit or Info you discovered about your phone no matter if it is the IP4S or IP5 that someone else might not know that you discovered on your own. Maybe it will be a useful tip or useless. Let everyone else decide.

I will start off:

I found out that the Power button is way more than an On/Off or used with your home boot to do a hard reset or to hold quickly to take a screen shot.

1. During an incoming call did you know that if you hit the Power button it will send your call DIRECT to voicemail?

2. Did you know that if you have an alarm(S) set as I do through the day for whatever reasons and it goes off, If you hit the power button it will dismiss the alarm and also dismiss the banner on your lock screen. The volume button will do the same.

Those are my tidbits so now post your own and see if anyone can use them.... Useful or Useless and have fun! Thanks.:)

It seems that a few of our sister sites such as Android Central and CrackBerry have started a Thread in their Off Topic Lounge especially at CB where it started as the 50K Challenge and then retitled it to the 100K Challenge when it surpassed their original number.

Here is what this is all about. You can post ANYTHING you want to post (Let's keep it PG) being a family friendly forum about anything you want to make a comment about whether it is about something you heard funny, A joke, About your day, About a device we have at iMore, I think you get the idea... Anything and everything. Look at it this way, You can bounce things off others that post and post back to their thoughts or your own , You can improve your post count and become an expert in no time...:) or just kill time and have fun. We need to compete with our other forums all for the sake of good clean fun so let's get things rolling and start posting. As the count goes up and we surpass goal 1 I can get a Mod to rename the thread to the next level and who knows maybe i can even talk them into a small gift from the iMore store for largest poster and contributor. We will see on that one. Good luck everyone and let's have fun.
