Compiling Admob for apps on Jailbroken phones ?

Hi, I am working on an app for which I need Admob Ads. I compile my code on the device with a makefile targeting it for 2.2 devices. But I am not able to find a proper way to compile the Admob library. The .a files, even if I link them while compiling, the lines where I have the AdView, keeps showing error messages. I don't have the error messages right away, but if anyone has a small tutorial to work with Admob for jailbroken apps, it will be of great help. Thanks,
