Beta 6 for Tuesday May 19th?

I was told it would happen but now with this 7 day trial of push apps some developers have received - I'm not so sure anymore.

I'm guessing the 27th and possibly the last beta before public release. All depends on if they will release 3.0 first and then iPhone 3rd gen or try to release them at the same time like last year. I'm hoping they try to not do so much on the same day though. I bet those upgrading to 2.0 helped bring down the activation servers on July 11th of last year.

I have a feeling they will hold off another week with the notification testing going on..

but then again it might make more sense that they do release it if it helps the notification system..

Don't get your hopes up on that happening. Last I heard was that AT&T would not flip the switch until it is released to the public. Things may change but it's doubtful.

Just remember, last year Apple released Beta 9 for iPhone 2.0 way *after* WWDC. iPhone 2.0 wasn't made GA until July 11, so if this year is the same -- and it just might be -- we'll get a Beta sometime soon, another maybe at WWDC, one or more after, then release...
