Another carrier that has good coverage and signal strength in your area. Note that "In New Jersey" is a bit to broad of an area.

If you don't need a device or wouldn't mind paying full price for your handset I would go with a company such as page plus or even T-Mobile depending on how good service is in your area

I switched to Cricket and was able to keep my Verizon iPhone 6. Popped in a Cricket SIM and I was good to go.
