If there is a difference between data transmission based on carrier, it can't be that big. More misconception from the carriers.

A gig is technically roughly 1,024MB, however people usually round down a bit to 1,000MB. Same with KB to MB.

No, the concept of data having value differing doesn't mean it's quantified differently. It's the same, the only difference can be the streaming settings set by the carriers such as the downgrade to stream at 480p(for ex).
