My husband and I both have "dinosaur" phones and have been with T-Mobile for years. Our contract is up in August and we want to get smartphones. We currently pay $75 for a shared plan and the data plan prices are $$$ with the different companies. What's the best and least expensive way to go?

More questions than answers. "Best" and "Least Expensive" may not be the same thing. Best depends on how you'd use your phones, which ones you'd buy, and what you need.

We will definitely use the internet on them and we already text alot. There are just so many companies, plans and phones in the market and it is overwhelming.
