    Well I this and the default password didn't not work, now I have a locked sim how do I get out of this??? On a unlocked I5 if this matters

    How many times did you enter the password? I was told by the AT&T rep that they're all set to 1111 initially. I'm really sorry about this. You need the PUK code by calling AT&T or logging in your Acct online. I will delete the start thread so no one else has a problem.

    Tell ya what, since nobody but a mod can delete the thread, and none of you is one...I'm going to lock the thread. It's a good learning curve, so I'm not going to delete it.
