Conflicting info/ Did you transfer an upgrade off an unlimited data line?
Ok my line has an upgrade available. I do not want to use the upgrade because I do not want to lose unlimited data.
I want to transfer the upgrade to my moms line so she can get herself a new phone.
I have been told on here I will lose my unlimited data on MY line.
I have done online chat with 2 separate VZW Reps that both said I will NOT lose unlimited data on my line, potential changes would be to my moms line. (She has 2GB monthly data).
Has anyone done something like this and kept the unlimited data on the line you transferred the upgrade FROM?

Me: Ok, I can do the order just fine, I just wanted to be sure that I wouldnt lose the unlimited data on my line if I give away my upgrade.
Rep: you will not lose that option. What page are you considering for her?
Me: She wants the new iPhone 5. My wife and I both have iPhone 4S and she really likes them so I told her I'd give her my upgrade so she can get the new iPhone.
Me: I see they are backordered for a few weeks though
Rep: Yes that is correct. However you can still pre order today.
Me: Ok, I am going through that process now.
Rep: Super so once you move the upgrade over you will pick the phone and then continue to pick the features.
Me: Ok. And forgive me for being paranoid, but this will NOT make me lose the unlimited data on my line (XXXX) even though I gave her my upgrade, correct?
Rep: You will still keep your unlimited data.
