Can you get a discount off an iphone if you add a line later?

Cause the person who I'm going with on the other line wants the white one and I'm really getting annoyed by the phone I have now so I'm just curious.

Adding another line won't give u a discount off the iPhone price.

If you add a new line to a family plan, that new line gets a new, subsidized phone price (or they should - who knows if an AT&T store will mess it up).

You do not get a new price - you line exists and has existed, so you are not a new customer.
