I bought my 3GS on launch date last year as a new AT&T customer with my boyfriend, but we had to put his line on military suspension for most of the past year because he got deployed. Unfortunately this pushed my upgrade date back several times because after going from a family plan to a suspension, I was paying less than $100 a month for my single line. On the day of WWDC, my upgrade date was Feb. 2011 and I was so sad because I wasn't eligible for the best upgrade price to iPhone 4!
HOWEVER... I just checked my date this morning, and NOW I got the fabulous message: "As a valued customer, we can offer you an upgrade with a new 2-yr commitment and an $18 upgrade fee."
WOOHOO!! I don't know if what happened to me is just a fluke, or if AT&T is still rolling back dates even for those in 2011.. anyone else??

but i think because u got it at launch day that ur normal upgrade would have fallen within 2010 and that is why it was pushed forward.
