Including Taxes  $338.00/month.

I have two lines:

1) My iPhone has Unlimited Calling / Unlimited Data / 200 text

2) My wife's iPhone shares 700 min. / Unlimited Data / Unlimited Text with my three teenagers. Basically a Family Plan (The kids do not have iPhones)

I have to have two lines. My wife and kids hardly talk on the phones. All they do is text. My kids probably put a total of 15 minutes per month between all three of them on the phone. With my Unlimited calling (average about 3500 mins/month for work) I have to keep mine separate because AT&T will charge me a bundle to add a second line to my line.:(

400 anytime / 5000 night and weekend ($40.00)
Unlimited text ($20.00)
Unlimited Data ($30.00)

$40. (not including taxes)

$30 iPhone data, $10 add a line. Zero text plan. I use IM Lite or AIM to send texts. Just a +1(then the number) in the recipient field, then your set to send texts. But you can only receive them when your logged in. Or when push notification is available with 3.0, IM clients can notify you when you have a new message.

I have three iPhones on a family plan.

Total cost per month is
$50 for the plan, + $20 for each additional line.
$90 for the three data plans.
$30 for family plan unlimited texting.

So you can either think of it costing me (the main line) $110 ($50+$30+$30), and the other two costing $40 each ($10+$30), or you can think of it as $150 total for 3 lines, or $50 each.

I like to think of it as the latter.

Of course, this doesn't count taxes, which is probably another $8 per line. It also doesn't count my 20% discount on the main line ($50) or on each of the iPhone data plans ($30 each), for a total discount on $28.

My bill is weird because my parents give me money for their 2 lines as they are on my plan as well, but if I just had me and the gf's two iPhone 3Gs on there,

I have my parents (2 lines), my brother in law (1 line) and my wife on my family plan. My parents and brother in law give me money each month.

Right now my plan with AT&T is $85/month + taxes bring it to normally ~$93/month.

-450 minutes = $39.99
-unlimited data = $30
-1500 texts = $15

Their texting plans are the only thing I have a problem with. You used to get 200 texts included and it was $10 to go to 1500. Now it's $5 just for 200 and then the $15 for my plan. Hopefully with the 3.0 OS and push notifications I will be able to more easily use some IM apps that also text people so I can drop it down.

My plan will also be changing soon. My bro and his fiance are going to get on my plan and are getting iPhones, they are waiting for the new one to come out at my advice. Bro will be leaving the Tmobile family plan I used to be on with my parents and his fiance has been a long time Treo user and is leaving Sprint (she has zero interest in the Pre, mostly because according to her "Sprint sucks").

Well, I don't really feel ripped off anymore seeing what everyone else is paying. I have 1400 minutes for $80/mo, unlimited text for $30, and the data plan of course. After a small discount from work and taxes I shell out 130. I could sure use the $10 price drop but I'm not counting on it.

We have 6 phones. 2 iPhones, 1 with unlimited calling, the other on a family plan with 4 other phones of 700 minutes. 2 other phones have the unlimited internet and all have unlimited text as well. We don't even come close to using the 700 minutes. Our total bill is around 430 a month.

Omg O2 seems like a great carrier especially the unlimited data for free :O

Rogers' plans are pretty crap. I bought my 16gb 3g for a 3 year plan for $350 (only option)
I pay $60 for 250 weekday minutes, My5 (unlimited call/text/mms to 5 people), 75 extra texts, unlimited weekends and evenings after 9pm, 1gb data, tethering (tethering will probably start costing money at the end of the year when they say they'll "think about the payment model), no caller id, visual voicemail.

Oh, and i have to pay $6.95 for a "system access fee"...
I know it's not the highest, but I don't really get much out of it either. lol
Upgrade prices for 3Gs are pretty bad too.

Att's lowest min plan they offered me was 29.99 for 200 min and 1000 nights/weekends with a promotional 100 min per month.

data is the usual 30.00

text for 1500 is 15.00

So about 75 before taxes, after tax about 82-83 a month.

Now throw in a discount of 25% makes it $22.50 for each of the minute plan and $22.50 data package, but sadly no discount on text plans... $60 before tax... 66 after tax a month.

I mainly use my phone as an texting/email device. I hate talking to people.

Optus Australia
I pay A$99.00 (about US$80) per month. Unlimited national calls, unlimited texts and MMS. 1.5GB data, tethering. We don't have visual voicemail on Optus yet. Vodafone have it though.
