Beats X sounds distortion issues

When I listen to music or watch video on my MacBook Pro using my Beats X, I notice the sound is distorted and choppy. I've tried restarting my MacBook, reconnecting my Beats X, etc. but no luck. So I've decided to turn off bluetooth on my iPhone and the distortion stopped! But this is very annoying! Does anyone know if there's a permanent fix? Thanks!

I did a quick test, and I didn't really notice any distortion or choppiness, maybe a little airiness. I'll do some more testing when I have more time. Some of what I heard was from the video I was watching and it did become a little clearer when I turned Bluetooth off on my phone.
