Compressed images over BBM

If you're sharing images over BBM you may notice that they tend to get compressed. This is to help with data usage and for the most part, images should be fine but in case you end up with some that aren't exactly the best/ viewable there is an easy way around it. You can tap and hold down on the image sent to you. From there, a slide out menu will appear where you can tap on the "HQ" indicating "High Quality".. when tapped, it will request the higher quality version from whomever sent you the image.

Kind of annoying to have to do it each time. For me the compressed version is horrendous. Wish I could just set it to HQ by default.

Yeah, totally should be an option.

In that case both the sender and the receiver should enable that option, else it is going to be pointless.

It may be nice for it to be an option, esp for those with unlimited data.
As far as I'm aware, it had ALWAYS been the default, as items get sent quicker and it uses very little data.

In all honestly, I rarely ever request HQ versions of sent images--only if there is something I can't make out due to the compression or it's an image I'd like to save.
