I was just wondering what you thought of Procreate, Paper, and Pixelmator. I know you just fell in love with Linea for its ease of use. Something must be missing if these apps didn't strike a cord with you.

I love all of those apps! Paper was my go-to for *years*; Linea beats it solely because their export tools and background templates are much better (SIMPLE LAYERS, PSD, yayyyy). It makes a lot more sense to me as a basic sketch tool, and has a lot of flexibility to import into another app.

Procreate is my heavy hitter for doing high-level graphics work on the iPad Pro; Pixelmator is its photography cousin. (I live for Pixelmator's repair brush.)

TL;DR: All the apps are great, I just use each for different purposes.

PSD export is a big deal. It's like DWG for drafting. I can truly understand that.

Also, interesting to hear you use the other apps. You have written about Pixelmator in an editorial IIRC. The others I don't recall seeing (I'll have to look again). Would love to see how you use whatever new feature Procreate dreams up next.

How do you backup your Procreate work? Do you use a Workflow?
