Has Microsoft changed its policy for Excel not requiring a subscription on the 9.7" iPad Pro? I'm pretty sure it used to work but now wants a subscription to Office 365.
It looks like that might be what's happening. I just logged out of my 365 account and was no longer able to create or edit documents. Once I logged back in, everything was working fine.
I have just got a 9.7" Ipad Pro based partly on the fact that I could get full function Excel and Word. Everything I can find on the net makes me believe that this is the case. But it seems MS want a 360 subscription to access full functions. The apps have the word 'essential' by them. Can anyone point me to a definitive answer or am I doing something wrong.
