iPhone 5c home button not working after charger port replacement

After replacing the charger port assembly (using the guide on this site), the home button doesn't work - it was fine before. The charger port now works.

Any idea why the home button wouldn't work after doing this? I can change the home button as the next step, but wondered if there was something about the charger port assembly replacement that could cause this.

More than likely you just need to take it apart and insure all you connections are tight. The home button is fairly easy to unlpug as I was told from a repair guy
