Normal wear and tear?

I

iMore Question

I personally prefer to use my iPhone without a screen protector, however I do use an iPhone leather use. I have had the phone for about a month now an I would just like to know that what I'm seeing, I'm seeing very faint scratches on a part of the display, you can't see it under normal use and you can only pretty much see it if you take a flashlight and scan it around the display. I feel the scratches a bit if I run my nail across. Is this just normal wear and tear?

It's in the oleophobic coating only. Perfectly normal.

I have three pretty good scratches on the left side of the screen from when I dropped it on hardwood that had some stones on it from winter salting and sanding...I can actually feel those with my thumbnail. If they annoy me too much I'll burn an AppleCare on it, nothing I get worked up over.

I use my jet black without a case or protector. Life is too short lol.

Welcome to iMore! It is if you put your iPhone in your pocket with other things like keys and change. I don't use a protective screen either. But I'm good about not putting in my pocket with other stuff.
