New to IOS- Put on Vibrate

How do I put my phone on vibrate? The switch turns it to silent, the volume switch will take it to one last bar but not on silent. How do I do this?

Hi, welcome to iMore.

Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics and enable Vibrate on Ring and Vibrate on Silent.

Now every time you put the switch to silent, your phone will vibrate if you get a call or notification.
