    I was told to buy an ipad not a Tablet. but i could not afford the ones i looked at. is there that much of a difference in them?

    New iPad is $329. Just came out last Friday. You can also find used iPads for cheaper.

    Might be better, if you can afford it, to get the one that's $400 something because it has 128gb instead of 32. But in the end it's up to you.

    I'm going to assume your use of the term "tablet" is in regard to an Android or Windows device. With that in mind, which operating system are you familiar or more familiar with? Which OS are you fluent with or more comfortable using? Whichever it is, that is the device you should purchase, in my opinion.
