    Hi,

I need a laptop replacement but Ive decided I can't give up a tablet, either.

I'm looking into the iPad Pro's to see whether they really can 'replace your laptop' as Apple say. I don't do anything too intensive; just a bit of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, so I'll definitely purchase a keyboard. Everything else is media consumption, web browsing and emailing which is why I prefer tablets.

What's best for me, the 12.9 or 9.7? I think the 12.9 for the word/PowerPoint etc, but then again maybe the 9.7 for media consumption because the smaller size will be better on my lap? Or not? I won't often need to take my tablet out the house by the way.

Alternatively, is it worth hanging fire for next generation of Pro's? One thing that's putting me off the 12.9 especially is its age..

    Thank you!

Either should be sufficient for the uses you've described. All you have to do is decide whether or not the larger screen is best for your needs.
