iCloud remnants

I recently got a 7 Plus and I see phone numbers I don't know in my call history as well as voicemail notifications (despite not having any messages).
When I go to my photos, they depict foreigners and locations I've never been to.

However, prior to selling my SE, I turned off Fond my iPhone as well as a factory reset, so the phone has been completely wiped. I changed my password and yet I still see the SE in my trusted devices AND under Devices, using Find My iPhone on iCloud.com.

How do I solve that?

Was your 7 Plus new or used? Have you tried signing out of iCloud, then sign back in? When you go to settings > iCloud, does it show your Apple ID email? Does iCloud show any other back ups than your 7 Plus?

It was new. I did try to log out then back in and iCloud only shows my backups.

It's what I would do. I call Apple Support about once every month or two. They learn a lot from me.

HA!!! Now that's funny!!!!

Sadly, it's also true. Every time I decide to stop by the local Apple store just to browse, I always overhear a conversation between an Apple employee and someone having a problem. I usually end up helping the person with the problem more than the Apple employee. Now, that's not a slam against the Apple employee. I just think their day is full of people screaming at them that they don't bother with the basics and go straight for the most complicated solution.

To be fair, they have been very helpful over the phone. They show me things I didn't know. But I've had to show them a thing or two as well.

Well...
They made me do the same "troubleshooting" we've been through, here.

So I'm back to the starting point.

Did you tell them it's still not Working? If so, what did they say?
Photos can't "just appear" on your camera roll. They had to be put there from somewhere. WhatsApp group message? Photo Sharing?
If you can get to an Apple Store, I'd go and see if they can help there. ID mix up? Apple should be able to see what's going on. Ask for a tech support specialist.

I didn't. I just gave up, at one point. I know they can't just appear there; same for call logs. That's so bizarre!!
I don't use WhatsApp. As for photo sharing, I use that to sync them across my devices, but they still shouldn't show pictures I never took.

I'll definitely go to the Apple Store. I'm booking an appointment right now.

If you got a ticket number from Apple Support, be sure to let the person who helps you at the Genius Bar know that!

That's good to know, thanks! I was unaware that they could look them up.

They can, and it's really beneficial to you, because they will document everything, and save you time. Plus, you're helping others as well! The knowledge Apple gains from your issue will enable them to help others with similar issues! :)

Dully noted! I have an appointment at 11 am and I'm curious to know what they'll say!
