Iphone 6 plus - restrictions help

Hello

Just bought an Iphone 6 plus for my teen.

I will be putting restrictions on however i have heard he can just reset the phone and override them. Is this correct?

If so is there anyway to be notified if the phone is reset?

If the teen merely tries to reset the phone, he or she should be prompted for the restrictions passcode. Still, he or she can reset the restrictions passcode, but he or she will lose all of the data that's on the phone. Having said that, I would periodically check my kid's phone, and If I found out that my kid reset the phone to reset the restrictions settings, I would take the phone, erase everything on it, keep it for a few weeks and then give it back with the restrictions re-enabled and I would dare him or her to reset the device without my consent, but that's Just Me, D.
