Why does apple 5 have dropped calls and merged calls?

Welcome to iMore! What is Apple 5? Do you mean the iPhone 5? Regardless, it sounds like your cellular signal is weak. My iPhone 5 does fine where I live. Does it do like that everywhere, or just at home?
