broken screen and can't type password.helppp

hi ! both left and right sides of my phone doesn't work. the screen has a crack . and now I have typed the password wrong for many times. now it is unlocked.and I can't type my gmail account username cause neither sides of my phone work.only the middle part works. If I change the screen,will it work properly again???please answer me ASAP
