Tried Moving an App and it disappeared

I was trying to move one of my apps into a folder. In-between two pages, I let go and it disappeared. It wasn't deleted and it didn't go into a folder. I can't find it on any screen or folder, but it's still on my phone since I can locate it by searching. How do I find the icon?

When you search it should tell you whether it's in a folder or not. If it doesn't have a folder name and you still can't find it on a home screen, you can do a hard reset to see if that helps or delete it and add it back.

I did notice it was saying it wasn't in a folder. Is there a way to delete an app without seeing the app icon?

I just turned off the phone then turned it back on. The app has shown up. Thank you for your help.

Glad you're sorted, but let's answer this question, in case you need it in the future. Yes you can.

Go to Settings > General Storage and iCloud Usage. Tap Manage Storage under Storage. Tap on the app you would like to delete, then Delete App (in red).
