I have a apple watch 2 and since getting it and setting it up, I am not getting notifications of texts on my phone. Its like its muted? I have tried Mirror iphone and custom.

If the iPhone's display is inactive then all notifications, except phone calls, will go to the Watch. That is how it was designed.

Took me a little while to get used to as well when I first got my watch but now it's just what I'm used to and with the watch on makes perfect sense and saves me getting my phone out of my pocket.

    It's exactly as Just_Me_D says
