Is there any smartphone app that can inculcate money management habits among kids?

Expense management is something that young minds haven't mastered it yet. Can anyone suggest how to instill this habit?

My 9yo is just starting to understand the concept of money.
I tried using apps etc to help her realise what money is and found that ChoreMonster was the most helpful.

It gives her "work" in the way of little jobs around the house such as hoovering or feeding the pets.

Every time she completes a task she gets a pre-determined amount of points (or money) which she can save towards treats.
Each treat costs a set amount so smaller treats such as extra dessert or 5mins extra on the iPad are cheap and visits to McDonalds take a bit of extra saving.

Now when she asks for a new toy or something she's more appreciative of how much things are worth.

The fact she dropped her iPad and broke the screen whilst being careless is what kicked this all off FYI
