Cannot search contents of locked notes.

Howzit guys,

So I recently noticed that I can only search the titles of locked notes (in the Notes app).

This makes sense when the note is locked but it remains this way even after unlocking the notes.

I've tried Spotlight and Notes search.

Is there a solution??

Well with the note locked it will find some info containing in the note from the search. But you can not view it until you unlock the note.

Exactly! I performed a search via the Notes app and was able to quickly find my locked note.

I unlocked one of my notes, then searched it in Spotlight Search. It showed the contents fine.

When locked, Spotlight did not show the contents.
