Can't access my email inbox because of advertising when I click on Gmail at start up

I do not wish to join what you are advertising. I use computer for emails and playing games only. Not I n to Hi-tech stuff.

How are you attempting to access your inbox? Via a computer, a tablet, a smartphone or what?
