So then I can buy an iPad Pro and it will work with any carrier I choose? Meaning it will accept both SIM cards? Unlike buying a phone which will only work on GMS or CDMA, not on both?

I just don't want to buy the iPad and then not have it work on the network/carrier I choose. Example: Virgin Mobile vs. T-Mobile.

    Thanks again!

I believe the iPad line must be purchased from your carrier for carrier functionality. I'm not 100% positive on this but I recall being told by Apple that if I wanted cellular functionality I would go to my carrier. Apple sells two models at two prices. Wifi only and wifi+cellular.

All cellular iPads are unlocked and will work with any service provider.
