    I have already removed the sim card and put it back. My mother has the same carrier as I do and she is not having any problems with her phone. On my phone it has no signal bars and will not allow me to receive or make calls, only text messages.

    1. Contact your wireless carrier to make sure they are not experiencing problems on their end as well as to troubleshoot your problem.
    2. Make sure your account is still active and in good standing with your wireless carrier.
    3. Go to Settings → General → Reset, and then select "Reset Network Settings".
    4. Make sure your device is not in Airplane mode as well as make sure cellular is enabled.
