How can I cancel need for a password?

When I updated my iphone 6, I am now required to use my password. I do not want to use this feature, but do not know how to cancel.

Welcome to iMore.

Settings>Touch ID & Passcode>Turn Passcode Off. You can turn the feature off there, but I really do not recommend it for security reasons.

You can change passcode settings in:
Settings > Touch ID and Passcode

However, as you have a device with Touch ID I'd recommend you keep it enabled and simply add more fingers to make it easier to unlock
