Is there a way to save attachments to iCloud Drive from my exchange email account?

on my icloud mail I click on attachment and can save into icloud drive. on exchange mail I can't. any solutions or workarounds

Try using a 3rd-party mail app, if you haven't already. I don't have an exchange account configured, but attachments sent to my Outlook.com account has the option to "Add to iCloud Drive". I use the Email by Easily.Do app for my email needs.
