How do I erase personal content on damaged iPAD before returning it?

My iPad was damaged by water and I am now returning it. How do I erase any personal content on the damaged Ipad?

Welcome to iMore! How badly is it damaged? Can you open it? If so, go to settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings.
If not, and it's offline, there's not much you can do. But neither can anyone else. If it's online, you could access it from Find My iPhone and wipe it.
