Unless the TV will allow for it, you will not be able to, but I could be wrong. Hopefully, others will offer their opinions and suggestions soon.

Welcome to iMore! You'd need a transmitter that will broadcast your TV's audio over Bluetooth. I don't know of any televisions that have Bluetooth built directly into it.

I have a 55" Samsung that has bluetooth built in. I don't know if it's possible to connect AirPods to it though.

Go to Settings on your Samsung TV, locate the Bluetooth menu, search for a way to pair Bluetooth devices, tap the button on the back of your AirPods case and see if you can pair them.

If yes, lucky you, if not then you at least know yo tried it.

I know how to do that. I don't want to connect the AirPods.
I was just pointing out that TV's do have bluetooth connections.

Boy am I outdated on my television technology! If Bluetooth is built in then OP should be able to connect his AirPods.
