How do i edit my Apple ID

I signed up for an Apple ID for the first time and stupidly used the wrong email address (I left out one letter) and now I can't verify my new account because the verification code is being sent to the wrong email address that I used to set up the account. Is there a way to get the verification code sent to my rescue address instead?
