When I use 2-step authentication on MacBook, iPhone 5c or iPadair, I get a message that someone is trying to sign in near Dearborn Michigan. When I put in the authentication code (from Austin), it lets me in. What is the problems and I can I fix it?

I don't know. Having said that, is location services enabled on your devices, especially for the app(s) you're using?

That is bizarre. Maybe I'm asking the obvious here, but are you using a device that was pre-owned? I know it's a long shot, but perhaps previous owner was from Michigan?
