Another recommendation, get a good otterbox case, kids are HARD on phones. My 12 year old niece breaks about 2 phones a year! lol

Otherwise I'm gonna say iPhone 7 in matte black.

for me light weight and single hand operation was the most important, so gone for 7. I didn't look even 7Plus. Yes, true, 7+ has great display and camera is far better but one has to go for liking.

I am a 13 year old girl, and I have small hands. I've had some devices, but they were too small. So I am going with the 7+. However, like all the other people said, you should take your daughter to the store and try out some. It really depends on what she likes. Good luck!

If by "girl" you are referring to a minor/dependant then I'd get the iPhone 7. I'm sure she'd be happy just to have a smartphone to communicate with her friends.
