Can't charge my iPad. I bought a new charger & cable but still doesn't charge. Help

My light on my iPad stopped lighting & want charge. I bought new charger& cable but still want charge. Can you help me?

Try using a toothpick and some compressed air to make sure there is nothing in the charging hole. Often lint etc gets in there and obstructs the contacts.
