I thought reception problems in iphone 7 plus with vzw were cured? Sales rep told me eveybody with ios 10, 10.03, and 10.1 still has issues. Data only helps but doesn't cure it according to him? BS or true?

Maybe your area is having problems?

    Check here....

    Status overview | Down Detector

Looking at the Verizon map, it appears that the Chicago area, the NY/NJ/PA, and MD/DC/VA areas are having issues.

You don't understand. There is no outage. The rep basically talked me out of the iphone saying ios 10 screwed it up.

If that was true than all tabloids, newspapers and other media would have been full with articles about this 'issue'.
I think it's safe to assume the rep largely exaggerated in this case.

So no more VZW lte reception problems? No more switching to data only?
