Calendar : find info fr previous years

When looking back a year ago on my calendar, I do not find any of the events or appointments that I had recorded there. How do I see events from previous years on my calendar where did they go. I have an iPhone 6s

If you haven't deleted them then they are still there. What you may have to do is delete the account from your device and then reconfigure it on the device to get those events to re-sync to it.
