Why does FaceTime crash my wifi connection?

My iPhone 5 connects to my internet full well and fine, using wifi on apps such as Facebook and Snapchat does not crash the wifi, neither does FaceTime audio, yet when I used Video Facetime for 1-20 minutes, the iPhone suddenly loses wifi and cannot reconnect unless I manually reset the wifi.

When the wifi disconnects from the iPhone, other family members are not affected and still have access to wifi whilst my iPhone 5 will not reconnect until the internet is manually switched off and on again.

How do I fix this?

Is there a time limit setting on the Wi-Fi router that could be causing the disconnect? Anyway. Go to Settings → General → Reset, and then select "Reset Network Settings" to see if that'll help.
