How do I set up a spending account for my preteen

I want my daughter to be able to make purchases but have an account that she can draw the funds from, not open access to my credit card. I want her to be able to put money on it and we would like to be able to load allowance money on it.

If you wanted, you could setup a restricted Paypal account and load money into that. Then, she could make purchases which would be well documented and you'd be able to control inflow of money.

You could simply buy her iTunes cards. She can load them and only spend what is in the account.
