Force closing a running app

I tried quiting the process of a running app so i could completely delete it. It pops right back up after i delete it. Could this be a virus app??

Need more info as what device are you using, what app are you referring to, etc. You can quit most apps by double tapping the home button, selecting the app, and swipe upwards.

try shutting down the iPhone completely by holding down the power button, it could just be a simple glitch.
